Located on the Great Ocean Road in Victoria, Beacon is a section of Thirteenth Beach. Some would say that it is THE section of the beach. Beacon is an excellent, sand bottom, (don’t let the reef on the inside fool you) hollow beachbreak. The a-frames here require your a-game, and can break for up to 50 meters, serving up intense and short barreling sections. The name of the game here is a quick drop into deep pit into hopefully getting spat out on the shoulder.
