On the Great Ocean Road in Victoria, Point Roadknight is a fun, sand-bottomed point break a la Malibu when it’s on. The waves here are pretty mellow and break for up to 100 meters, providing long, smooth, tapering walls suitable for longboards and mini mals.
Gets food between waist high to overhead, the best boards here are the biggest, so bring your longboard. The point is best suited to intermediate and advanced surfers, but there are opportunities for beginners to learn in the beach break on the shore. It takes a massive swell to wrap around the point, so the wave does not break often (3/10), although it is usually uncrowded (3/10).
