More on Alexandria Bay (A-Bay)

Alexandria bay is a long walk either from Sunshine Beach or Noosa Main beach. Sunshine is much closer through. Before you decide do go all the way with your family and friends, you should know that the only patrol is comprised of naked people wandering around, its a nudist beach. The beach is a major swell magnet, however. Quite often, when things are quiet elsewhere, Alexandria will be firing. Good areas would be south for groomed walls and north for fast tubes. No lifeguards, strong currents and powerful waves, with hardly anyone out should signal novices that it is probably not the best place to learn the art of the waves.

Worth making the effort to experience this classic Australian beach break though!
